We grow our grapes in the sunny San Joaquin Valley in California – in the premium wine growing regions of Lodi and Clarksburg.
Located 100 miles east of San Francisco, Lodi and Clarksburg are blessed with warm dry summer days which allow the grapes to develop full ripe fruit flavors. The region also benefits from the coastal gap between the northern and southern coastal ranges surrounding the San Francisco Bay which helps to create distinctive cooling breezes that preserve the natural acidity in the grapes and bring structure and complexity to our wines.
The rolling foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range define the eastern edge and multiple rivers flow into the region creating soils rich in minerals. These soils are well-drained allowing the vines to develop excellent and intense fruit flavors.
